INVITOKENS was founded in 2013 by Miss Kaye Byrd, a proud national of Kingston, Jamaica. Byrd’s creativity was well-known to family and friends for whom she designed printed works for all types of events and functions. She was encouraged to develop her skills and launch as a professional designer. But with already established invitations designers in the Jamaican space, how was Kaye going to offer another competing product. She decided not to offer a product, but to offer an invitation experience that would celebrate the client’s individuality and unique aesthetic.
Byrd of Paradise offers “invitokens” which are invitations that may also be presented to guests as tokens. We help our clients to give “A Tease. A Taste. A Token”. Our gorgeous invitokens give your guests a tease of the event, represents the taste of the star of the event and, of course, offer a sentimental token. This, we think, is a clever way to achieve cost effectiveness in your event planning. Byrd of Paradise draws its name from the artistically appealing Bird of Paradise flower, whose regal bearing resembles a bird in flight. The flower symbolizes balance, liberty and magnificence. This symbolism is the epitome of what we want our brand to represent. Our invitokens are offered in three degrees of experience: “Classic”, which highlights the symbolism of balance; “Couture” which celebrates the liberty in design and “Luxe” which brings to life the symbolism of magnificence.
