Romario is a 20 year old photographer, seeking to capture your very best memories and bring them to life forever with just one click! And here's his story:
I've been doing photography since I was 18 years old. I've always been fascinated with cameras and how they work, the different features they have, and how you can play with the settings.
In 2015 I bought my first camera (a Canon EOS 5D Rebel T3i) but at that time I didn't know how to really use it like a professional, so everything I shot was done automatically.
At the time I was in college studying for Commercial Food Preparation for a year and a half, and had received a Level 3 (Supervisory level) Diploma. With the camera I started my own business, where I could cover events (mostly nightlife) and private photoshoots while continuing to study. I designed my own business card, had 500 of them printed, and handed them out at every event I covered.
On December 9, 2016, while still in college doing my final examination, I got a call from a photography company that needed more photographers. I stared working for them the very next day. That very day I shot my first wedding (although the owner sent another photographer to help me out).
As time went on I gained more experience working with the other professionals, and learned to become expert on my camera settings. My own company grew steadily, and now I've been getting bookings for weddings, graduations, family shoots, birthday parties, events, newborn, maternity and more.
The initials R.R that you see above come from my own name, "Romario Ricketts.
