Bride of the Year

How is the Bride of the Year selected?

Shortlisted entries for the Bride of the Year competition will be received each month and posted the Weddings JA Instagram page. The public may vote by liking the picture of the contestant they wish to vote for. At the end of the voting period, the bride with the most likes/votes will become the Bride of the Month winner. New entrants are posted online every month. The Bride of the Month winner (between January and December 2022) with the most votes  will win the Bride of the Year 2022 competition. 

Entry Criteria

The competition is open to all Jamaican born brides residing in Jamaica who got married in Jamaica within within the month of entry or within the two months prior to the date of your entry. 

1. Complete the Bride of the Year Entry Form
2. At least five (5) wedding photos will be needed to complete the entry form. Be sure to have your photos ready. NB: Only shortlisted entries will be published.

THE BRIDE MUST BE IN ALL PHOTOS SUBMITTED. Bride’s face must be clearly visible in ALL photos

• *Likes/votes from persons not following the Weddings JA Instagram page will not be counted.
• *Auto likes/bots are not allowed. All likes must be from real Instagram accounts. (Persons found to be using auto likes may be subject to disqualification).
